Dr. Chris Kabalan, DVM

When Dr. Chris Kabalan joined Drs. Tom & Sue after her graduation from The Ohio State University in 1997, she was already a familiar face at East Hilliard Veterinary Services. During her days as a vet student at OSU she worked part time for 2 years at the clinic and got to know many of our clients. Drs. Tom & Sue knew then that with her excellent capabilities and likeable personality, Dr. Chris would be a tremendous asset to the clinic, and since her joining the staff, they feel her skills have enhanced the professional services of East Hilliard Veterinary Services. There is no question that she quickly became very popular with many of our clients here.

Along with our dog and cat friends, Dr. Chris sees many of the exotic pets that find their way to our clinic. With the recent popularity of ferrets, Dr. Chris enjoys seeing them along with the other pets that fall into the exotic category such as iguanas, rabbits, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice, chinchillas, sugar gliders, and a wide variety of birds, including budgees, cockatiels and parrots. She has even been known to see an occasional turtle.

Dr. Chris and her husband, Paul, are the proud parents of their son, Nicholas, who was born in April, 2000 and daughter, Emily, born October, 2007.. They share their home with their two cats, Libby and Ruby. When time allows from her busy career and caring for Nicholas and Emily, Dr. Chris enjoys aerobics and running and Paul is involved with softball. Dr. Chris is originally from the Youngstown area where she enjoys returning to visit friends and family.
